Job Summary

PhoenixBev, the leading beverages manufacturer in Mauritius, is seeking an experienced, solutions-driven, and forward-thinking Electrical Maintenance Manager to strengthen its Engineering & Operations Division.

This role goes beyond conventional maintenance supervision. It requires a strategic technical leader who ensures operational excellence, champions energy efficiency, embeds a culture of preventive maintenance, and accelerates the adoption of modern automation technologies across production sites.

You will play a critical role in shaping the reliability, safety, and performance of PhoenixBev’s electrical infrastructure — ensuring seamless operations that support world-class manufacturing standards

 

Job Skills Required

  1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
    Plan, execute, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programmes to ensure all equipment and electrical systems operate at optimal performance levels.
  2. Regulatory Compliance & Safety
    Ensure full adherence to all regulatory requirements relating to electrical installations, lifts, machinery, and certified tools while enforcing strict electrical safety protocols.
  3. Energy Management & Efficiency
    Lead energy monitoring efforts by recording, tracking, analysing, and reporting energy usage. Recommend actions for continuous improvement in line with PhoenixBev’s sustainability objectives.
    (Knowledge of ISO 50001 is an advantage.)
  4. Maintenance of Critical Systems
    Plan and supervise maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, Lifts, Generators, UPS units, and all key electrical installations across the facilities.
  5. Inventory & Spare Parts Management
    Maintain optimal inventory levels for electrical spares, consumables, and critical components to avoid downtime and support uninterrupted operations.
  6. Troubleshooting & Technical Expertise
    Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently, including issues related to PLCs, HMIs, automation networks, and control systems.
  7. Coaching, Training & Team Development
    Guide and mentor team members, enhancing their technical skills and encouraging the adoption of new technologies and modern engineering practices.
  8. Breakdown Response
    Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns — even beyond regular working hours — ensuring the swift restoration of operations with minimal disruption.
  9. Documentation & Reporting
    Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with PhoenixBev’s reporting standards, including maintenance logs, compliance records, SOP updates, and audit requirements.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support our dynamic FMCG operations.

  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements.
  2. Map FMCG business processes into Business Central functionalities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  3. Configure and customize Business Central modules including inventory, order management, finance, warehousing, and production.
