Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Report Developer to join our Digital Transformation team. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming business data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making across our FMCG operations.
You will design, develop, and optimize interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, integrating data from various systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, sales, production, supply chain, and finance. This is a hands-on role for a data professional passionate about turning data into a powerful driver of efficiency, growth, and innovation
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Gather and analyze business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders across departments.
- Connect, transform, and model data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, WMS, POS, Excel, etc.) using Power Query and DAX.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance optimization of BI solutions.
- Develop automated data refreshes and scheduled reporting using Power BI Service and gateways.
- Collaborate with IT and business users to define and maintain data governance and KPIs.
- Provide user training and documentation to promote data literacy and self-service analytics.
- Support the digital transformation roadmap by implementing best practices in analytics, visualization, and business intelligence.
- Explore opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities through Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) and AI integrations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education & Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Power BI development or a similar BI/data analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling techniques.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and relational database systems (SQL Server, Azure Data Services, etc.).
- Experience integrating ERP data, ideally from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other enterprise systems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear and actionable visual insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
OTHER DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or other cloud-based data solutions.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) for workflow automation and process improvement.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Exposure to AI/ML-based analytics, predictive dashboards, or IoT data visualization.
- Background in FMCG, retail, or supply chain analytics.
