Good Health and Well-Being
PhoenixEarth’s health and safety programme aims to provide safe working conditions and health support for team members of the Phoenix Beverage Group.
This was particularly important from the start of the Covid-19 pandemic where strict protocols were implemented to ensure the health and safety of our team members and customers.
- Facilities improvement for our operations to allow us in being more efficient, increase productivity and increase employee wellbeing.
- Provide a safe and accident-free work place
- Set up engagement tools to boost team members' morale
Decent Work and Economic Growth
Our activities create jobs and support the businesses of our customers.
We are a significant employer and taxpayer; making a positive contribution to the economic growth of the countries we operate in.
- Build resilience to survive the financial and economic risks, based on past track record and sustainable development initiatives in place
- Keep our LIBA certificate renewed
- Provide training, learning and development tools to ensure adherence to required standards
Industry Innovation & Infrastructure
We work through this SDG by taking actions towards solutions relating to other solid wastes such as electronics, plastics, cans and cartons in our manufacturing process.
Technological advancement is also essential for long-term solutions to economic and environmental concerns, such as creating new employment and increasing energy efficiency. Sustainable development may be aided by promoting sustainable industries and investing in scientific research and innovation.
- Implement an internal innovation process
- A new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for all our operations
Responsible Consumption & Production
One of the greatest global challenges is to integrate environmental sustainability with economic growth and welfare by decoupling environmental degradation from economic growth and doing more with less. Resource decoupling and impact decoupling are needed to promote sustainable consumption and production patterns and to make the transition towards a greener and more socially inclusive global economy.
- Implement new technologies, equipment and systems to improve the performance and efficiency of the brewing and packaging processes
- Keep up with the highest international standards for product quality for each brand
- Innovate with products with less sugar
Climate Action
Climate change is caused by anthropogenic emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gasses. Climate change impacts natural and human systems globally through the increase globally averaged surface temperature, extreme weather events, changing precipitation patterns, rising sea levels and ocean acidification.
- Facilities improvement for our operations to reduce our environmental footprint
- Measure the carbon footprint at the Limonaderie site
- Creation of a circular economy for plastics to achieve a situation where all of our primary packaging can be collected, recycled and reused
